This Privacy Policy explains what information Remote Agency Hiring ("we", "us", "our") collects through remoteagencyhiring.com (the "Site"), how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Site or submitting an application you agree to this Policy and to our Terms & Conditions.
§ 01Information we collect
- Application information you give us: full name, email address, phone number, relevant experience, why you believe you are a good fit, desired monthly earnings, whether you are currently working, full-time availability, ability to work US hours, internet download/upload speed, whether you can start immediately, the link to your video introduction, your CV (uploaded as a PDF), and your answers to two scenario questions and a timed logic question (including your reasoning and the time taken to answer).
- Source information: a tag indicating which job board or link brought you to the Site.
- Technical information: standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type, and timestamps) generated by our hosting provider to operate and secure the Site.
§ 02What we use it for
- Reviewing and evaluating your application.
- Contacting you about your application, the role you applied for, and future roles we consider you potentially suitable for.
- Introducing you to businesses that are hiring ("Hiring Businesses") when we consider you a potential fit.
- Operating, securing, and improving the Site, including preventing spam and abusive submissions.
§ 03Who we share it with
- Hiring Businesses: if we consider you a potential fit for a role, we share your application materials with the relevant Hiring Business so they can evaluate you.
- Service providers: we use reputable third-party services to receive, store, and process applications and to notify our team (for example hosting, spreadsheet, and team-messaging providers). They process your information on our behalf.
- Legal: we may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights, users, or the public.
We do not sell your personal information.
§ 04How long we keep it
We keep application information in our candidate database so we can consider you for current and future roles. We retain it until you ask us to delete it, or until we decide it is no longer needed. You can request deletion at any time (see § 06).
§ 05Cookies and tracking
The Site does not use advertising trackers or analytics cookies. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, and our hosting provider keeps standard technical logs; beyond that, we do not track you across other websites.
§ 06Your choices and rights
- You may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
- You may ask us to correct inaccurate information.
- You may ask us to delete your application data, and to stop contacting you, at any time.
Send requests to contact@remoteagencyhiring.com from the email address you applied with. We will respond within a reasonable time. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local data-protection law; we will honor valid requests accordingly.
§ 07Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including restricting access to the applicant database and transmitting data over encrypted connections. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
§ 08International processing
Your information is processed and stored on servers that may be located in the United States or other countries, which may have data-protection laws different from those in your country. By submitting an application you consent to this processing.
§ 09Age limit
The Site is intended for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18; if we learn we have, we will delete it.
§ 10Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. The "Effective date" above shows the current version. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
